General Job Description
United Insurance Services (UIS) is recruiting Service Ambassadors to represent the company to current and potential clients. Ambassadors will be an entrepreneurial, outgoing and motivated self-starter who strives to excel.
In this dynamic role, Service Ambassadors are responsible for a wide variety of duties including public relations, promotions, seminars, trade shows and community events. Position also involves door-to-door communication and canvassing to a target market. Service Ambassadors will represent UIS and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois at numerous events throughout the year. Successful candidates will have a tremendous opportunity for advancement from this position, including the opportunity to become a licensed Agent Representative after twelve months of service. The unrestricted financial earning potential will be determined by the results of the efforts of the Service Ambassador.
Service Ambassadors will be provided with all of the items they will need for success, including company-identified clothing, a technologically advanced work environment and marketing support. Candidate Characteristics
- Excellent Communication & Personal Skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Computer literate with the ability to learn customer service software applications
