Position Description

Job Title: Inside Account Assistant

General Purpose
Support the general duties of the Inside Direct Market Agent

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain scheduling for agents including PTM (permission to mail packets), quote sheets, and phone appointments.
  • Run various reports from CATS database on a weekly, monthly or as needed basis
  • Create, edit, print weekly Agent Report
  • Adhere, maintain and exceed department goals
  • Review scripts, conduct research, and cultivate new script and marketing ideas
  • File agent activity reports, correspondence, production and renewals
  • Analyze reports and investigate red-flags or discrepancies and provide feedback to management
  • Participate in various meetings and projects to enhance department's creativity
  • Work with IT department to create improved, authentic reporting
  • Responds to agent inquiries regarding production statistics

Peripheral Duties
  • Provides assistance to other departments as needed

Desired Minimum Qualifications
    Education:
  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
  • Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Windows-based programs and Microsoft Office software are required
  • Skill in operation of listed tools and equipment (cpu, calculator, fax, scanner, printer, copier)
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and agents
  • Ability to work efficiently
  • Capacity to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, agents, and other employees
